What is Email Capture
Email Capture is a new popup type in Kaching Popups that lets you collect email addresses from your store visitors. It works alongside the existing Direct Upsell popup, giving you two powerful ways to engage customers at the right moment.
How it works
When a visitor triggers the popup (via exit intent, scroll, or timer), they are shown a branded popup with an email input form. Once they submit their email:
The email is saved to your Kaching Popups dashboard
The contact is automatically added to your Shopify Customers list
Setting up an Email Capture popup
Go to Kaching Popups in your Shopify admin
Click Create popup and select Email Capture as the popup type
Choose a template (light, dark, minimal, or with a countdown timer)
Customize the title, subtitle, image, and button text
Set your trigger — Exit Intent is the default (recommended), or choose Scroll or Timer
Save and publish
Available templates
There are 6 templates to choose from, including minimal layouts without images and versions with a countdown timer to create urgency.
Where can I see the collected emails
All captured emails appear in your Kaching Popups dashboard and are synced to your Shopify Customers list automatically.
