How to change the font and text size in your Kaching Bundles widget

Change the font, text size and font style of your bundle widget, pill buttons and sticky add to cart bar.

Written by Donatas

You can change the font and the text size of your bundle widget from the deal editor. Each main text in the widget has its own size and style. You can also pick a font from your theme, or keep your theme's default font.

Where to find the typography settings

  1. Open Kaching Bundles and open the deal you want to edit.

  2. Open the Style section.

  3. Scroll down to Typography.

  4. Make your changes.

  5. Save the deal.

Typography settings in the Style section of the Kaching Bundles deal editor

Change the text size and style

Under Typography, each text has two settings:

  • Font size: the text size in pixels. You can enter any whole number from 8 to 72.

  • Font style: choose Light, Light Italic, Regular, Italic, Medium, Medium Italic, Bold or Bold Italic.

These are the texts you can change:

  • Block title: the heading shown above your deal bars. Default: 14 px, Bold.

  • Title: the title of each deal bar. It also sets the size and style of the main price in the bar. Default: 20 px, Medium. A deal that you create from a template can start with other values, for example Bold.

  • Subtitle: the subtitle of each deal bar. It also sets the size of the crossed-out price and the price per item. Default: 14 px, Regular.

  • Label: the small label shown next to a deal bar title. Default: 12 px, Regular.

  • Free gift: the free gift text in your deal bars. Default: 13 px, Bold.

  • Upsell: the upsell text in your deal bars. Default: 13 px, Bold.

  • Unit label: the text after the price, such as "per piece". It only shows when Show prices per item is turned on in the Pricing settings. Default: 14 px, Regular.

  4. Save the deal.

Font dropdown under Typography

Theme default means the widget uses the same font as the text around it on your product page. This is the setting for new deals.

The font you pick applies to the whole widget, including the variant dropdowns.

Change the text size of variant pill buttons

If you show a variant option as pill buttons, you can change the text size of the pills:

  1. Open the Settings section.

  2. Under Variants, click Add swatches (or Edit swatches if you already have some).

  3. Choose the Option, then set Type to Pill buttons.

  4. Move the Pill text size slider. It goes from 8 to 32 px.

  5. Click Apply, then save the deal.

Change the text in the sticky add to cart bar

The sticky add to cart bar has its own typography settings. The settings in the Style section do not change it.

  1. Open the Sticky add to cart section and make sure it is turned on.

  2. Click the Style tab.

  3. Under Typography, pick a Title style and a Button style.

  4. Under Size, move the Title font size and Button font size sliders. Both go from 8 to 72 px.

  5. To use different sizes on phones, untick Same size on desktop and mobile. You then get separate Desktop and Mobile sliders. The first time you do this, the mobile sliders start with your current desktop values.

  6. Save the deal.

The Savings summary section also has its own title Style and Size settings in its Style tab.

Good to know

  • Typography settings are saved per deal. If you have several deals, change each one.

  • The Font size fields in Typography accept 8 to 72 px. A number outside that range shows "Too small" or "Too big".

  • The Font list only shows fonts from your published theme. If your theme uses only one font, the Font dropdown is hidden and the widget uses your theme's font.

  • You can only pick one font for the whole widget. Different texts cannot use different fonts.

  • The variant dropdowns inside deal bars always use 14 px text. There is no size setting for them.

  • For pill buttons you can only change the text size, not the text style.

  • The sticky add to cart bar has no font choice. The Font setting only applies to the widget itself.

  • The mobile sizes of the sticky add to cart bar apply on screens narrower than 750 px.
