How to Validate if the Issue Is Related to Kaching Bundles App

Learn how to confirm if the issue is caused by Kaching bundles app

If you’re experiencing an issue on your storefront and you suspect it may be caused by the Kaching Bundles app, there are two quick ways to test that — without removing the app or contacting support right away.

These checks will help you confirm whether the issue is coming from our app or not.


Method 1: Temporarily Disable the App Embed

Disabling the Kaching Bundles app embed will prevent our app’s code from loading on your storefront — which means if the issue still happens, it’s not caused by our app.

To disable the app embed:

  1. Go to Shopify Admin > Online Store > Customize on your live theme

  2. In the theme editor, click “App embeds” (icon at the far left)

  3. Find “Kaching Bundles” in the list

  4. Toggle it off

  5. Click Save

Now refresh your storefront and test the issue again.

  • If the issue is gone, it may be connected to our app — please contact our customer support through the live chat in app.

  • If the issue persists, it’s very likely unrelated to the Kaching Bundles app.

Important note: Our app loads only when the app embed is enabled, so disabling it removes all widget and bundle logic from the page.


Method 2: Use the ?kaching=off URL Parameter

If you want to disable the app on a single page without touching theme settings, you can use our built-in debug shortcut.

Just add ?kaching=off at the end of your product page URL.

Example:

https://yourstore.com/products/your-product-name?kaching=off

Then, reload the page. The Kaching Bundles app won’t be loaded, and no bundle widget or logic will run.

Test the issue again:

  • If it still happens, the issue is not caused by our app.

  • If the problem goes away, it may be connected to Kaching Bundles — and we’re happy to help troubleshoot it further.
