How to create BOGO deals for multiple products

Basic quantity BOGO deal ( buy one get one free )

Let's discuss the typical approach for BOGO deals in our app.

A BOGO (buy 1, get 1) deal, can be easily created using the "Percentage" discount type.

The calculation for the discount is straightforward. To create a Buy 1, Get 1 free deal, you need to set up a deal with a quantity of 2 and a percentage discount of 50% per item.

More advanced BOGO deals:

Buy 2 get 1 free

* Buy 2 get 1 free is a total quantity of 3 items.

* 1 item in a 3-quantity deal is FREE.

* Calculation: ( 1 / 3 ) * 100% = 33.33%

Setup for the bundle deal:

3-quantity deal with a percentage discount of 33.33%

Buy 1 get 2 free

* Buy 1 get 2 free is a total quantity of 3 items.

* 2 items in a 3-quantity deal are FREE.

* Calculation: ( 2 / 3 ) * 100% = 66.67%

How to create BOGO deals for a single product

If your bundle contains only one selected product - you can avoid percentage calculations and use a "specific" price to create a BOGO deal

* 1 item in a 3-quantity deal is FREE.

* Specific price: ( 50 * 3 ) - 50 = 100$
