If you’re seeing the error message:

“Discounts must be the same for the same quantity”

— it means you’re trying to create multiple deal bars that apply different discounts to the same quantity.

Why This Isn’t Allowed

Our app applies right Quantity break discounts based purely on quantity. If you create two separate deal bars for Buy 1, each with a different discount and / or gift, the app won’t know which one to apply — and will always default to the one with the higher discount.

To avoid confusion and ensure a smooth customer experience, the app restricts you from setting multiple discounts for the same quantity.

Trying to Offer Different Gifts for the Same Quantity?

We’ve seen cases where merchants want to offer different free gifts or bundles depending on which option a customer selects — even though the quantity is the same.

In that case, the better solution is to use the Bundle Upsell discount type instead.

With Bundle Upsell discount type, you can:

  • Define custom product combinations

  • Apply unique discounts per item even when quantity of the main item is same across different deals

  • Offer separate gifts or upsells per bundle
