If you want to boost sales and encourage customers to buy more, offering volume discounts is a great strategy. In Shopify, setting up volume discounts for separate products can increase order value and improve customer satisfaction. This step-by-step guide will walk you through how to set up volume discounts for different products and let your customers mix and match their own bundles like pros.
If you're using Kaching Bundles, there's a handy feature that lets your customers mix and match products! With the 'Volume discount bundle with other products' function, your customers can pick different items from various collections and build their own custom bundle - and still enjoy a volume discount.
It's flexible, fun for shoppers, and great for increasing sales. Let's dive in!
1. Start by selecting the product page you want the bundle to appear on. You do this by editing the 'Visibility' options in the bundle editor.
2. Then toggle 'Volume discount bundle with other products' option:
3. Select the products eligible for bundling, by choosing one of the options: 'All products except selected', 'Products in selected collections' or 'Selected products'
⚠️ Don’t confuse this up with Visibility options from Step 1.
Visibility = where the bundle shows up.
Eligible products = what your customers can choose from.
4. Time to give your bundle some glow-up:
You can choose a different image if you'd like to use something else.
You can also customize the button text, change its background color.
Adjust the product photo size to fit your design.
Or just leave everything as is, it's your call!
5. You can show or hide the product name by toggling the 'Show product name' option, depending on your preference.
6. If 'Show price of chosen products only' is enabled, the price will reflect only the products the customer selects.
If it's disabled, the price will always show the main product's price (multiplied by the quantity), and will update only if additional products are added.
7. Feel free to customize the popup modal the way you want by selecting 'Customize "Choose product" modal'
8. In the Style and Settings sections, customize your modal by selecting the colors you prefer for different elements. You can also change the image, button size, titles, and more.

9. Do not forget to apply those changes. An that's it! Your volume discount bundle is ready to go. Customers can now mix and match their own deals while you sit back and watch your AOVs climb.
