How Do App Credits from Kaching Appz Work with Shopify Billing?
App credits are digital funds issued by Kaching Appz that offset charges on your Shopify invoices, so instead of being charged to your payment method, the credit covers the cost automatically.
What are app credits?
App credits apply toward your Kaching Appz subscription charges within Shopify's billing system. A couple of things worth knowing upfront:
Credits cannot be refunded to your bank account. They only apply within Shopify billing.
For pending charges, credits act like a refund by covering the invoice before it's finalized.
How are credits applied?
Automatically. Once issued, credits are applied to eligible app charges without any action needed from you. And if you've uninstalled the app, don't worry β issued credits remain intact and can still cover any outstanding charge.

Where to view your credits
Go to Shopify Admin β Settings β Billing.
Under the Current billing cycle section, click View remaining credits.
In the Billing History section, look for lines labeled App credits applied
Common scenarios
Pending or duplicate charges: Credits will cover the cost before a pending charge is finalized. For duplicate charges, credits are applied automatically with no manual steps required.
Using credits across multiple apps: Credits are app-specific. Credits issued for Kaching Cart, for example, cannot be used toward charges from other Kaching apps.
A few more things to know
Shopify stores start with no credits unless issued by an app.
You'll receive an email confirmation from Shopify once credits are applied.
Even after credits cover a charge, the original invoice remains visible in Shopify but no payment will be taken.
