To ensure your cart upsell product doesn't appear in collections on your storefront, the process is straightforward. Follow these steps to hide it while keeping it functional for upsell purposes.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Create a new "All" Collection
In your Shopify Admin, navigate to Products > Collections.
If you don’t already have a collection named “All”, click Create Collection.
Name the collection All and set the Collection type to Smart.
Set a Condition to Exclude the Cart Upsell Product
Under Conditions, choose:
Product type is not equal to "Kaching Cart Upsell Toggle".
Click Save.
This ensures the collection includes all products except the cart upsell product.
Check for Other Collections
If the cart upsell product appears in any other collections, repeat the same process for each collection:
Add a condition to exclude products where Type is Kaching cart upsell product.
Verify the Change
Go to your storefront and check the collections to ensure the cart upsell product is no longer visible.
